Abdelwahab El-AffendiDr Abdelwahab El-Affendi is Reader in Politics and the Centre for the Study, University of Westminster and Co-ordinator of the Centre's Democracy and Islam Programme since 1998.In the 1980s, there was much talk in Nigeria about the "Kaduna Mafia", a mythical and not-so-secretive organisation said to be made up of influential northern Nigerian intellectuals, civil servants and businessmen, intent on the advancement of the interests of northern Nigerians. There is still plenty of that chatter about. The organisation almost certainly did not exist, and if it did, it does appear to have been a phenomenal success.Prominent figures associated with it have repeatedly …
Danish psychologist Nicolai Sennels, an expert in working with Muslim youth criminal offenders, has written a new book entitled Among Criminal Muslims. A Psychologist’s Experience from the Copenhagen Municipality, and in an essay supporting the book, he claims that “Islam creates monsters.” A recent study out of Germany supports Sennels’ statement. It found that devout Muslims were more prone to violence than the non-Muslim participants in the study.Sennels says Islam is different from other religions because the way it is taught brainwashes its youth with violent messages. Parents inflict violence on their children repeatedly, Sennels claims, and at the same time, deliver reli…
Women’s Day faces Islam Jahanshah Rashidian Life 1 hour ago The International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8 was celebrated with the Clara Zetkin’s idea at the International Socialist in a conference of Copenhagen in 1910. Clara Zetkin was a German female activist of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).   The claim of gender equality is indeed above any ideology because communist regimes attempting to create classless societies with appropriate socio-economic structures had no equal chances for women in holding public offices under the Eastern Bloc.   Achieving equal rights for women to hold public offices, the right to vocational training, and …

I wonder what gave them that idea. Might have been all the bombings. Or the children holding beheading signs. But the Q Society, a pro-Democratic, Anti-Islamic Theocracy organization, conducted a revealing poll. According to a recent Morgan poll conducted on behalf of Q Society of Australia Inc., the majority of Australians are clearly concerned about Islam and 70% believe Australia is not a better place because of Islam. The survey, completed in late October, found a majority (53 per cent) of Australians want full face coverings banned from public spaces and 50.2 per cent want Islamic sharia law banned all together. Notably only 15 per cent of Australians think Islam and terro…
